Welcome to the 2nd Edition of the New Orleans Music Connection newsletter. The NOLA Music Connection is a free, volunteer effort designed to connect displaced New Orleans musicians & bands with talent buyers, events & fans. Below you will find a selection of some of New Orleans finest talent and we have added a number of new acts since the last edition. You can listen to music samples, view photos and see where each artist is currently residing. Please contact any of the band's directly if you have a booking opportunity, to inquire about their availability or to purchase a CD.

New Orleans has been a vital force in defining modern American music. By any standard it is a national treasure to be preserved & cherished. The hurricanes however, left a huge hole in the cultural fabric of live music and since then thousands of New Orleans musicians and bands have been displaced with their livelihoods torn apart. The incredible talent represented by the musicians below is really just the tip of the iceberg and the list will continue to grow. So if you are a music lover sit back and enjoy, there is something for everyone in the Big Easy.

If you are a New Orleans musician and you would like to be included in the NOLA Music Connection newsletter please email Steve. If you have a possible performance opportunity please contact the artists directly. Feel free to post the NOLA Music Connection onto appropriate discussion boards or to pass it on to anyone interested in saving the vibe. You can also help by clicking the Donate button below to give to the Tipitina Foundation's Artist Relief effort. Thank you in advance for doing your part to preserve the music that enriches so many of our lives. If you would like to be removed from future emails please click the Unsubscribe at the very bottom of this email.
